Incredible Film Festival

The curation carried out by the Belas Artes Group highlights the artistic quality of the works, with aesthetic and formal refinement that deserves to be seen in the cinema, but which do not always make it to the national circuit. At least four films from the selection were presented at this year's Cannes Film Festival, such as The Portrait of Norah by Saudi director Tawfik Alzadi. In addition, the public will choose their favorite film through a vote and the one with the most votes will receive a prize.
The festival featured special Q&A sessions with distinguished guests. On August 1, we welcomed Iranian Neda Mihandoust to the screening of Café Tehran , directed by her brother Navid Mihandoust. Navid is currently imprisoned in Tehran, having been sentenced to three years in prison for unjust charges related to a documentary he made in 2009. On August 2 at 7 pm, we will be joined by Emma Benestan, director of Animale . This is Emma's second film and was featured at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival in 2024.
